Job Zone d’emploi offers informative workshops on various topics that can help you prepare to find employment.

Smart Serve

Are you interested in working in the Hospitality Industry? Did you know that anyone who serves or handles alcohol in a licensed establishment in Ontario must be certified by Smart Serve? Job Zone d’emploi is offering Smart Serve training in a group setting. It is comprised of five modules containing video clips, interactive discussions and quizzes as well as the final Certification Test.

Second Career

Second Career is a program to help laid-off Ontarians participate in training for a new career. If you were laid off and are currently unemployed, you may be eligible. This workshop will provide information on eligibility and will discuss the financial support that may be available. This session will also review how to complete the application and provide direction for next steps in the process.
